GW Swipes Out Hunger
In 2020 GW partnered with Swipe Out Hunger, a national nonprofit organization committed to ending college student hunger. Via this partnership, GW students, employees, and affiliates can donate unused GWorld funds to directly support ending student hunger at GW. All donations are split evenly between The Store: GW’s Food Pantry and the Abrahms Family Fund, a GW institutional grant that provides emergency GWorld dining funds for students in need.
Donations can be made year round via the GET app. Donations are voluntary and are not tax deductible. Swipe Out Hunger donation campaigns are held periodically throughout the year.
